Electrical control panels are used in a variety
of environments that can negatively affect their
performance and lifespan, such as areas that
have liquids and steam present from manufacturing
processes or outdoor weather exposure. Lubricants
and oils used on manufacturing equipment can also
find their way into electrical systems. Panels installed
in food and beverage processing plants may be
exposed to high-pressure washdown cleaning
procedures, while panels found in pulp and paper
mills must be able to withstand the steam found
in most paper processing areas.
When specifying electrical components for electrical
